How much can I expect to pay for full service design?

Our service offerings differ depending on the style, flower selections, and the guest count. Our quality of service is the same no matter the price point we work with. No two events are the same, so we do not have package or set prices. We create custom quotes for each and every client. Quotes are based off of your guest count, overall design, and the amount of staff needed to execute each event. Personalized quotes create a package just for you, with your needs, and your style! A consultation is required to discuss the details of your wedding/event before a quote is given.

What kind of retainer is required to hold my date?

A 25% retainer of the total balance due is required to hold your date.

Does Beyond the Decor provide full service décor, set up and break down?  And do clients keep decorations?

Yes, we provide full service. Our team will deliver, set up, break down and pick up decorations. All decorations are considered rentals only. We will bring only the amount of table linens, sashes, chair covers, centerpieces, etc., as specified in the contract.

Do you supply tables and chairs? Do you set them up?

We do not supply tables, but we do supply Chiavari Chairs and Throne Chairs. We do require that your tables and chairs at your venue be already set-up by the venue or customer before our arrival to design. But if needed, Beyond the Décor by LaToya will arrange tables and chairs for an extra charge.

How far in advance should I reserve my date?

We recommend that you reserve your date with Beyond the Décor as soon as possible to ensure date availability. We book events up to 2 years prior to the event.

Will Beyond the Decor be required to visit the venue for location and layout?

Due to our busy schedule and travel costs, we will not travel to acquaint ourselves with venues. If the event is in a venue unknown to us, you may email pictures or a virtual tour. If client insists that we come out to see the venue, the cost will be $100.00 depending on location.

Do you use fresh flowers?

Yes, we design with fresh or silk flowers.

Do you charge for an in- person consultation?

Currently we do not.

Do you do room flips? Do you charge? (Ceremony to Reception in same room)

Yes, we do room flips. There is a transitional fee of $500 -$1000 depending on the number of tables and design to transform the space with a limited timeframe.

How much time does Beyond the Decor need to decorate?

We require approximately two (3) or more hours to design. We may need more time depending on your guest count and design. We will also need time to breakdown décor.

Do you provide a payment plan?

A payment plan is developed for you after your retainer is paid and your contract is signed.

Do I still need to hire an event planner if I hire Beyond the Décor by LaToya?

Yes. You will need to hire an event planner/director. We only handle one aspect for your special day. We are an event designer not an event planner. Your venue decor is our only responsibility. The wedding planner/director will assist you in dealing with all the professionals you hire and ensure that a tight time line is followed.

Do you supply table setting (charger plates-dishes-flatware-glasses)?

Yes, we do supply plate chargers. We also supply disposable dinnerware for guest tables. You can also upgrade to real dishes for the Bride & Groom Table and the Wedding Party Table. (Extra cost will be applied)

Do you Rent items?

The only items we rent out are the Throne chairs, Throne Sofa, and our Gold Chiavari Chairs. All other inventory is saved for my full event design clients.

What are your payment options?

Do you work with Wedding Planners?

Yes, we enjoy working with an array of planners in the industry.

How long does it take to flip and transition a room from a wedding to a reception?

Keep in mind, transitioning a room is like decorating an entire wedding reception within a limited time. Depending on the number of tables, chairs, florals, minor details and more the time will vary from 1 hour- 1 1/2 hours.

How do I receive a quote?

On our website please go to the contact us tab to submit your information to schedule a consultation. Please understand you must schedule a consultation to receive a quote. Your venue must also be secured to receive a quote, quotes are venue specific.
