LaToya Jefferson has been planning bespoke weddings and celebrations for more than a decade. After planning and designing her own wedding she realized that she had a passion for celebrating life’s special moments. She founded Beyond the Décor by LaToya in 2016, where her welcoming personality and attraction for details have earned her a sterling reputation.
LaToya believes that life is full of reasons to celebrate. She cherishes the role she gets to play in the lives of her clients, serving as both a close confidant and a trustworthy advocate as she works tirelessly to execute the refined, effortless weddings and events for which she is known.
To date, LaToya has produced everything from weddings, birthday celebrations, anniversary celebrations, corporate events, conferences, corporate holiday parties and more. LaToya can and has curated experiences for any occasion. LaToya implements a strong sense of professionalism while maintaining her friendly and outgoing nature.
Because her name is on every event, her team works tirelessly to create the best day possible for their clients. LaToya provides you with the expertise you need to inspire and impress your guests, from recommending preferred vendors to creatively executing your vision, she personally ensures that the planning process is as flawless and fun as possible.

If I weren't a wedding planner, I'd love to be: Private Investigator or a Detective.
My favorite part of a wedding is: The private last dance.
Most people don't know that: I cry at every wedding.
During wedding season most people don’t know that I drink about 4 to 5 coffees a day.
